Hey guys! Kind of a dumb question here, but... I couldn't find the answer by googling, so thought I'd ask.

I picked up the Manaphy Mystery Gift/Wonder Card a while ago, but still haven't grabbed Manaphy from the guy at the Pokemart (combination of laziness and wanting to reset for natures/shinies). If I go get my Arceus download tomorrow, will I still be able to get Manaphy from the guy (ie. will I be able to go get Manaphy from him, then go talk to him again and get Arceus), or will Manaphy disappear and leave me only able to get Arceus?

eta: I know you can have up to three Wonder Cards saved, but I think that's separate from actually picking up the Pokemon.

Sorry for the lack of updates... I have no real excuse. Just haven't been doing it. I've been keeping up with Twitter a little more faithfully, however. I guess tonight I'll transfer a big chunk of that over. My apologies to anyone who gets alerts when I update, haha. Maybe I'll get another Twitter shipper... the last one failed hard.

Early tomorrow morning, Jeff and I are leaving for Kentucky for a fossil trip. We'll be hunting trilobites... I'm really excited, but I seem to be getting sick. I think I've caught the flu from Cyril. *shakes fist* Sick or not, however, I'm still going. This will be my first opportunity to trilobite hunt, and I might not get another chance for a very long time. Anyway, we're only staying overnight for one night, then we'll be returning so we can both work during the weekend. Hopefully I'll be well enough...

Anyway, making plans to head up to North Carolina with Jeff for Thanksgiving. I've been with him since 2003 and my grandparents up there still haven't met him. XD

And on a completely random note... Praying mantis!

I'm battling my way through the Battle Frontier and doing all right - I've easily defeated all the Brains for the Silver Symbol. However, opponents become more difficult with each round and my progress is slowing down. I notice that competitive battling movesets don't work as well there when you're only using three or less Pokemon in battle. Has anyone else done better with a different team?

I'm currently using a Physical Attacker and two Annoyers/Tanks, but with this generation damage is so great that my tanks often don't survive long enough. And I make use of high IVs and EV training.

 Hey guys. My friend recently lent me Pokémon Channel (the one where you can get a Jirachi upon completion)
Through semi-clever tactics I hope to get loads of Jirachis. Saving just before Jirachi on memory card A, copying save to memory card B, getting Jirachi with memory card B, deleting the save, then copying the save from memory card A onto B again.
Has anybody out there tried this but failed? If this works I'll probably just give them away to you guys for popularity  cool Pokémon  just because I'm kind.
Also I am in need of a good team and being the annoying strategist that I am, I feel sick if I haven't got a good plan. So please, tell me your opinions on a good team.

So a couple of months ago I decided to make a good enough team of pokemon that could try to take on Palmer (Diamond version not Platinum.) From those encounters I've learned that his Rhyperior is an jerk, his Milotic is a hoe, and his Dragonite was a bastard. I get up a team of Metagross, Ninjask, and Salamance and get to his last pokemon (Dragonite) just to lose to some status effect. Now I read up a bit on some and end up with a team of Gengar, Dragonite, and Snorlax. Then I lose again. Fast forward 5 attempts later. I get a team of Starmie, Ninjask, and Tyranitar. Starmie OHKO his first one, 2HKOs his Milotic, and then OHKOs his Dragonite. I am dumbfounded how easy that was considering how much he screwed me over before. Sweet revenge never felt so good though.

Today I checked the GTS; I posted up a Zapdos, hunting for a level 50+ Vespiqueen. Not a bad trade, right? Considering the Zapdos was nicknamed RYANCORTME!?

In came a shiny Vespiqueen. I freaked out with excitement... Then I looked at it's stats. It's level 54, caught at the pokémon league, and it's ot? AARON. With all of Aaron's Vespiqueen's moves. *headdesk* The trainer stole Aaron's Vespiqueen >.<

So, I wanted to spark a discussion about the worst hacks you've ever recieved over the GTS. Maybe a shiny level 1 Arceus swam into your inbox? Or a Mewtwo caught in Hoenn at level 45?

So someone traded me a few pokemon on Bulbagarden, then they wanted to battle. I felt obliged to do so, because they clearly got the shit-end of the stick on the trade. I know next to nothing about battling, so I'm just sitting here, waiting to die. I feel like a bastard, because my Internet failed right at the end of the battle, when he was about to win. D: So we started again. :/

Now I've a mind to make an EVd battle team! I assume one's team is best set up as thus? I really don't know.

One physical sweeper (+Speed demon)

A Physical wall
A Sp.Def wall
One trapper/tank
And one evil little bastard

Once I know this, I may be able to cobble something together. Damn, but I hate battling. I really do.

I've been meaning to post about a compilation I found earlier this year. A group called Italo 4 Ever is making Italo compilations. The compilations aren't official CDs; they seem to be songs collected from different scene releases/mp3 rippers. But they're valuable to me since many of the songs on them aren't around anymore. In fact, all of the following songs are from '03/'04.

Here are my favorites off the PromiseLand collection:

Gabry Ponte - The Man In The Moon (PromiseLand Remix) - a classic

PromiseLand vs. Netzwerk - Memories (Full Extd Mix) - Initially disliked this due to the boy band-esque vocals (is that Netzwerk?), but PromiseLand won me over. The tempo of the main melo is pure ITALO :D

P'n'P Project feat. Robbie - Yo Te Siento Asi (PromiseLand Remix) - One of those rare songs I like solely for the vocals. I sometimes sing along to the chorus. SO CATCHY

PromiseLand - Live Your Life (Extended Mix) - ITALO POWER

PromiseLand - I Belong To You (D@ny85DJ Remix) - Respect to D@ny85DJ for his awesome arrangement. Blows away the other remix of "I Belong To You" on this compilation. I sometimes sing the chorus over the parts where the melo is instrumental. 8D

Tiziano Ferro - Sere Nere (PromiseLand Remix) - Another song I initially disliked, yet was won over by PromiseLand's style. Ferro uses shouty Rock vocals in the chorus, which annoys me. It's more apparent in his original version. PromiseLand work their magic, though.

PromiseLand - Time Is True (Original Extended Mix) - The song that led me to find this compilation. I had it in '03, lost it on the old computer, and finally have it again. Timeless.

PromiseLand - I Really Mean What I Say (Extended Version) - The "Ghost" breakdown toward the end makes this song for me. You'll know what ghost I refer to when you hear it. ;) unless you've been living under a rock

Braces are in. They were indeed less painful to put in than the separators.

I'm a li'l down about not being able to eat the foods I used to. See my profile. Note that food is a listed interest. That's how much eating means to me. :B Also, chewing takes forever. I spent over a half hour eating a small bowl of soup earlier. :/

A question for anyone (whether stray visitor or on my f-list) who ever had braces: what did you eat that first few weeks? Seems everyone tells you what NOT to eat and neglects to give specifics on what you CAN eat.
